Euro 2008….Dear women, are you fed up with football the same as I am?

To be honest, I have no idea what is so exciting in this game. Eleven sweaty men who run around the playing field… yes, it must be interesting. All the men who I know would probably kill me now but how much I can stand - now it is the sixth hour when I’m forced to watch it….Is it fair? I don’t think so ;]

But......I found a different photo which was taken at the same time which the one I had described above. The photo shows me and my brother who are crouching down on a square near my grandparent's house. My brother has a fashionable white glasses whereas I have a white headscarf which covers my blond hair. Isn't it cute? ;)
I have a lot of photos from my childhood but the one makes me laugh whenever I look at it. Unfortunately, I couldn't scan it but I hope that I would do it long before. It was taken in my home town, Ostrzeszów, when I was 3 year old and my brother was 6. At the front of my grandparents’ house was a huge square where my parents decided to immortalize how beautiful we were. Mom noticed a great moment when my brother and I were hugging and she immediately took a photo. It was so cute. I remember that in that particular day my parents took a lot of different pictures of me and my brother together but this one was probably the best.

Task two...

Nearly all the English websites which I visit are connected with some teaching materials and resources which I use during my private lessons. That is why when I started to think about any other sites I realized that there are probably only two which I visit whenever I find some free time (as you know it is a rarity) ;)) The first one is www.youtube.com where I can find a lot of video clips, interviews and short films. In my opinion everybody will find something interesting there. If you haven’t visited this site yet, do that as quickly as you can and look for the movie about our college, it is worth ;) The second website is www.cnn.com . I visit it to find some news from around the world. What I like about this page is that it contains a lot of short reports which I often don’t watch on TV. That’s it….;)

My first computer experience...

My first computer experience was a long time ago ;)) I was about ten years old and I didn’t have my own computer yet. One day I was invited to my uncle's birthday party. As I was enormously bored among adults, my cousin, who was three years younger than me, suggested playing computer games in my uncle’s office. Now I know that it wasn’t a good idea. Obviously, at first we had a great fun playing “Prehistoric” but after some time something happened and the game did not want to turn on again. As we didn’t want to make anybody angry, I decided to repair the computer on my own. Of course with my “broad knowledge” of computers and electronic systems, I pressed all the buttons, one by one, what caused more serious problems. I probably pressed the button which shouldn’t be touched, especially by the total greenhorn. When my uncle came to see what had happened, it came out that the computer didn’t want to work at all. Because of that day I decided to avoid computers till my parents bought me my own brand new one. From that moment I can't imagine my life without the computer and the Internet... ;)))
